All You Need is Love – Thoughts for 10 minutes well spent
Cute Dapple is all about you and helping you find ways to increase your happiness, so you can live guilt free! Here is a tried and true tip to help you get rid of some guilt. The idea is to stop bigger issues before they start – thereby creating more time for YOU 🙂
Simple Steps
Everybody needs to feel special. And the most important ones in your life deserve it the most. If you’re happy, ultimately they’ll be happy and vice versa. This post is focused on your loved ones… the little guys in your life, be it your children, or your pets.
With all that is going on in our day to day, its easy to forget how important you are to those in your life. Setting aside just 10 minutes of one on one time will make for special moments and feelings that will create a feeling of security.

Tots and Young Ones
These guys just want you all the time! Setting aside special one on one time is priceless and something you’ll both look forward to. Playing dress up, reading a book, or making a special snack together are someways you can spend quality time. That’s the key; quality, not quantity.

Pets
Your pet(s) need to feel special too. Go for a walk, play fetch or tug of war; give your pet a nice brush or a bath. Whatever you do, one on one will make them feel special and cure anxiety. Just that little bit of time, strengthens the bond.
Another way to their heart is through their tummy. Specialty treats are another way to show your pet love. I bought these freeze dried snacks for my pooch and she LOVES them!

Older Kids
Your older guys need to feel special too, although depending on their mood they may not admit that they want to be with you. It’s worth a try from time to time (probably not everyday – although you never know). Try being silly, but not in front of their friends of course. Or, break out an activity you used to enjoy together when they were younger – arts and crafts, a game, or take out some Nurf guns. Try whatever you think will bring the smiles, because ultimately that will make you feel good, and them too.
A consistent go to is cooking. Even if they don’t like to cook, they’ll enjoy eating something special that’s just for them.
Final Thoughts
It’s all about bonding, creating a feeling of security, and enjoying yourself more.
It’s the quality of time spent, not the quantity of time spent.
Having the pure intention of enjoying your life and your loved ones is what it’s all about. Live guilt free.
