A delicious, Easy Weeknight Meal
There is something to be said about comfort food. Some foods taste better during certain seasons. Chicken pot pie however, is great year round. Here is a delicious recipe for easy chicken pot pie that could become a family favorite.
Chicken Pot Pie

What you need:
- 2 cups of cooked chicken – cubed
- 1 can each of the following: cream of mushroom soup, cream of potato soup, mixed vegetables (preferably a mix with potatoes)
- ½ cup of milk
- 2 pie crusts
- black pepper and whatever other seasoning (season to your liking)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 and take pie crust out of the refrigerator.
2. Mix together all ingredients, remember to drain the veggies.
3. Put 1 pie crust into a pie plate
4. Pour mixture in and put 2nd pie crust on top.
5. Pinch the edges together, and cut slits on top.
*optional, paint milk or egg wash over the top of the crust – this will give the golden color (after its cooked) a beautiful shine
6. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes
7. Take out and let sit for 10 minutes. Cut and serve.
Optional – add sriracha for a kick before serving, a little goes a long way
Tip for the toddlers and little ones in your life – serve in a bowl with a spoon, it’ll be easier to eat– careful it gets VERY HOT!
