You have your choice of a Mixed Box or a Bakery Box.
A sample Mixed Box may include:
- sourdough country bread
- wheat bread – sourdough
- sourdough harvest bread

There are Health Benefits to Sourdough
Each of Wildgrain’s products are made in small batches with clean ingredients and zero preservatives. Sourdough bread contains lactic acid, which helps our bodies better absorb nutrients like iron, calcium, and magnesium. Also, sourdough has prebiotics in it that keep your gut healthy and increases your digestion of these nutrients. Having food with prebiotics supports your digestive health*. Wildgrain products are also an excellent source of fiber.
“Our fermentation process digests the majority of gluten. Some people with gluten sensitivities may find sourdough bread easier to digest.”

Our Review of Wildgrain
I was so excited for the this box of baked items and pasta because it sounded like a unique take on subscription boxes, and we LOVE food over here. My 1st Mixed Box subscription arrived within 5 days of my initial order and came stocked with some delicious looking treats.
This box contained:
- Sourdough Loaf
- Seven Grain Sourdough Loaf
- Rosemary Garlic Sourdough Loaf
- Whole Wheat Sourdough Loaf
- 12oz Fresh Fettuccine
- 12oz Fresh Tonnarelli
- 6 pack of Orange Cranberry Biscuits
The items arrived packaged with dry ice and ice gel packs to insure the contents stayed cold. Each item was flash frozen and individually vacuumed sealed. The instructions on the box were straight forward, which stated to remove the contents and place the items in the freezer as soon as possible. Because they arrive insulated and with dry ice, it will stay cold a while after arriving. Each item had its own instructions on it with the cook time and temperature.
Delicious Eats
For a savory treat, we had the Rosemary Garlic Sourdough loaf and dipped it in an olive oil – balsamic mixture with a sprinkling of red pepper flakes. This paired well with a nice bottle of Chardonnay, however if you prefer red, a Pinot Noir or Shiraz would go nice too.
For dinner we had tried the Tonnarelli with a meat-less marinara sauce. Tonnarelli is like spaghetti except that it’s a little thicker. It held on to the sauce nicely, which made the whole dish a mouthwatering experience!
The Orange Cranberry Biscuits were zesty, they were the perfect mix of tart and sweet. Between the coffee and the biscuits the house smelled delectable, like a cafe, perfect for a quiet Sunday morning. These biscuits were great lightly buttered.
We enjoyed the whole wheat sourdough with a slow cooked venison roast, this had a creamy mushroom gravy that we enjoyed dipping this loaf in. We would have used the leftover slices for sandwiches but there wasn’t any left! So, for lunch the next day we had the seven grain sourdough loaf with Boar’s Head EverRoast Chicken, Havarti, & mayo…scrumptious!
We are planning to make a Fettuccine Alfredo dish next week that we anticipate being just as tasty as our last pasta dish using Wildgrain’s fresh-cut pasta. I have no doubt that the last loaf will be as amazing, however we decide to eat it.

Final Verdict on Wildgrain Bread Subscription
If you are thinking of trying this subscription I would highly recommend it. The fact that there is zero commitment to continue the subscription if it isn’t for you makes it totally worth it for at least one try.
