Late Summer- Early Fall Planting

I recently received a healthy French Manicure Hydrangea from Nature Hills. The plant arrived healthy and in great condition. The plant itself was protected in a box, wrapped in plastic and the was a full shrub. Nature Hills did not disappoint; with useful information on how to care for my new plant, or the appearance of the plant out of box. Unboxing the French Manicure Hydrangea

We chose a place that gets full sun, but this plant can thrive in partial sunlight too. We dug a hole, placed the plant in, added more dirt, and watered it.

Help Your Plant Thrive

Its important to note that French Manicure™ Panicle Hydrangea shrub needs to be watered regularly if it is dry in your area. It does best in full sun, but can thrive in part shade as well. A simple once a year pruning in the spring will aid in creating big cluster blooms.

This plant has big pointed blooms, that change color from creamy white in the summer months to pink and red with white tips as Fall comes into full bloom. As the blooms dry out they remain on the shrub through the winter, adding some gorgeous appeal to a gray winter. This hardy plant flowers year after year.
